Newspaper Tuttosport today reports that Milan are preparing a sensational summer swoop for Juventus hitman Amauri. The Diavoli are allegedly keen to form a dream Brazilian trio with Alexandre Pato, Kaka and Amauri leading the front line. It is suggested that technical director Leonardo has met with Amauri over the past few months, urging him to part with the Bianconeri after a single season in Turin.
Amauri’s wife Cynthia, who acquired Italian citizenship earlier this month, is reportedly close friends with Kaka’s spouse and the ex-Palermo forward is often spotted in the Lombardy capital.
However, Juve general manager Jean-Claude Blanc issued a hands-off warning.
“Amauri is not for sale and will definitely stay with us,” he is quoted as saying.
The Brazilian marksman moved to the Turin giants from Palermo last summer, signing a four-year contract until 2012, and now seems close to hiring Davide Lippi, the son of Italy boss Marcello, as his new agent after terminating a contract with Mariano Grimaldi.
